StudyAway Portal is moving to a new login service,
UGA Single Sign-On

 
Beginning on February 26^th, the StudyAway Portal will start using UGA’s new sign-on system.
 
This new single-sign-on authentication service, called UGA Single Sign-On (UGA SSO). The look and feel of log-in pages and branding will change from Central Authentication Service (CAS) to UGA Single Sign-On (UGA SSO).
 
There should not be any changes in the way you sign into the Portal, you will still sign in with your MyID and password. These changes could impact those with bookmarks in their browsers with a direct link to cas.uga.edu leading to the StudyAway Portal. If difficulties occur, go directly to studyaway.uga.edu to login.
 

UGA SSO provides improved authentication mechanisms for information systems, and better security and privacy for University data and information.
 
UGA SSO also provides the ability to use two-factor authentication to access web applications for departmental information systems – a critical enhancement that many units on campus have requested.
