CRCC Asia – China Internship

Intern in China!
Become immersed in the culture of the professional world in China. One month, two month and three month internships are available in Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, or Shenzhen for both undergraduate and graduate students. Internships are offered throughout the year. Over 5,000 participants have completed internships in China through CRCC Asia.

The Internship Experience
A full schedule of social, cultural and business events are available to participants to complement their internship experience in China. As an intern, you’ll get a chance to meet other students from all over the world. You’ll gain exposure to a variety of aspects of Chinese culture and economics, and make global networking connections with others in your field. As an intern in Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai or Shenzhen, you will be given tasks within your industry sector through which you can prove your skills, determination and commitment to your professional development.

Internship Program

 Applications are processed and internships are placed on a rolling basis. No knowledge of Chinese is needed.
Internships are available with over 400 international and Chinese companies, covering the following 14 internship sectors:

Program Itinerary

Internships are available for one, two or three months or semester-long.  The China Internship Program runs on a monthly basis all year round, providing students and graduates the opportunity to gain professional experience in China.

Housing and Meals

During your internship in Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai or Shenzhen you will stay with other CRCC Asia program participants in clean and modern serviced apartments located in the heart of the city.

Program Costs

Program costs vary depending on the length and location of the internship. For current prices, visit
Included with the program costs are business and networking events, social and cultural events, a crash course in Mandarin Chinese, program orientation, an in-country support staff, and events with their intern alumni network. Housing accommodations are covered by the program.

Students pay fees and costs directly to the internship provider, CRCC Asia.  Financial Aid such as HOPE, Zell Miller and student loans can be applied to the program if the internship is completed for academic credit at UGA.  See the financial aid section of for more information.

UGA Credit Options

Please discuss with your academic advisor your academic your specific options for academic credit based on an internship, independent study or other independent experience abroad.   CRCC does not provide transfer credit, but most participants arrange for a international internship credit by working with a department at UGA.
