Program Description:

8-week Virtual Internship Program, Summer 2021

FACS 5915E/7915E  International Virtual Internship

Program begins:                     Tuesday, June 1, 2021
Program ends:                        Friday, July 23, 2021
Student fee:                           $1300 per student (Estimate.) + Tuition for 3 credits (Hope/Zell Miller Scholarship applies)

Program Components Included in the Student Fee: 
Pre Internship:
Customized admissions and application process available including on-line registration and submission of required participant materials;
Interactive Web Portal for virtual internship preparation;
Dedicated Program Advisor for one-on-one consultations;
Clifton Strengths Assessment;
1-hour coaching call with Gallup-certified Strengths Coach;
Professional Document Assistance and Interview Preparation;
Workplace Culture Webinar;
Guaranteed Virtual Internship Placement.

During Internship:
How to be a Successful Remote Intern webinar - includes six steps to teleworking: space, time, communication, projects, health, network;
Virtual Welcome Orientation;
3 social activities (live and pre-recorded activities);
Regularly scheduled internship check-ins by our staff;
Midpoint Reflection with Strengths-based reflection for both intern and employer;
An employer panel;
Final evaluation for employer;
Virtual Exit Orientation for reflection on students' next career steps. 
Virtual events begin during pre-departure and run concurrently with the program. Some content is delivered live, others are pre- recorded. Note that social events are optional but check-ins and orientations are mandatory.
 
Contact hours:The internship itself ranges in contact hours: 10-15 hours a week
 
Locations:Virtual internships are available in the following locations:
Barcelona, Berlin, Dublin, Florence, London, Madrid, Milan, Paris, Rome, San Jose and Sydney
