This program is ideal for students majoring or minoring in Spanish, who want to explore one of the jewels of Latin America: Costa Rica. Students will enroll in two of the four Spanish courses offered and complete six credit hours over the six-week program.

Classes will meet at the modern and vibrant campus of Veritas University; a fully accredited private university just ten minutes away from downtown San José.  Students will be able to participate in all the University's extracurricular activities.

Students on the program will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to enjoy the comforts of a homestay with a Costa Rican family. They will share  breakfast and dinner with the families, and will have weekly access to laundry.  Each family has been fully vetted and recommended by the study-abroad staff at Veritas University.

In addition to the time spent in San José, the group will participate in excursions to the Caribbean and Pacific coasts, to one of Costa Rica magnificent volcanoes, and to other beautiful locations.
