Current program fee ($5,800) is an estimate based on 2014-2018 participant numbers.
Program duration is 45 days, or just under seven weeks.
Airfare is based on non-stop Delta fare ATL-EZE. Cheaper fares are available with other carriers. Be sure to check out Student Universe for low-cost options.
Housing costs are included in the Program Fee.
Transportation cost estimates for Buenos Aires are based on $15 a week for use of bus and subway. Taxi costs are additional, and not included. Large-group transportation costs (via bus and remis limousine taxi) are included in program fees.
Transportation cost estimates for UGA assume automobile ownership. Cost breakdown: $299 = $49 parking + $200 insurance + $50 fuel
Meal estimates for Buenos Aires: $125/week. Meal estimates for on-campus students at UGA: $30/day.
Study Abroad (Travel) insurance is included in Program Fee.
UGABA homestays provide breakfast and dinner. Student is responsible for purchasing lunch. Meal prices vary depending on dining choices.
Program fee may be adjusted according to the number of participants, inflation in Argentina, and currency exchange rates. UGA tuition fees are not included. Students who are not USG pay an additional $250 fee and a $50 admission fee (but not out-of-state tuition).
Out-of-state students pay in-state tuition for credits taken abroad1. Additionally, the HOPE and Zell Miller scholarships apply to those who are eligible.
