Do it! It was the best 4 months of my entire life. I have absolutely no regrets having completed this program and only great things to say about it.

Keep your mind open to all ideas, people, food, and possibilities. You never know what you are going to appreciate until you try it.

It's made me realize how incredibly beneficial it is to see the world and experience other cultures to gain a better understanding and appreciation for the world around us and the people within it.

Before going on this trip I was only a Spanish minor, but now I have decided to make Spanish a double major.

Now, I have a sense of preparedness for my future self. I am ready to put myself in situations I usually would not out of fear. My timidity in speaking Spanish has lessened after the program because I finally let go of over thinking what I would like to convey when speaking to natives. Turns out I was at a higher level than I thought, for each person I spoke with told me I was "very española" and "speak without an accent". When I return to working at Apps on the Fall, I have new teaching techniques for my ESOL students due to my T-Oigo experience. After being abroad, you feel as if you can take on the world and that's what I'm most excited for.
