What were the most significant take-aways from your experience?

I enjoyed all the cultural learning we did about our new environment. I also enjoyed the closeness I had with my housemates as it provided a support network for me when I needed one the most. I also enjoyed how personalized the classes were and how a lot of them were taught through self-learning rather than the professor providing all the answers.

What are your words of advice to students considering this program?

Just do it. The school is remarkable and you will learn so much, but the people you will meet, both teachers and peers, will astound you and you'll make relationships unlike any other relationships in your life.

I am a transfer student, and the Oxford program was my first semester. I am so thankful I went because I made friends for life who continue to support me in Athens.

It has pushed me to want to go to graduate school and possibly try to get in to a university such as Oxford. My goals have expanded because my mind has become more open to future possibilities that I had not considered before this program due to professors and fellow students pushing me towards my goals in life.

I have decided to pursue a masters degree and actually applied to Oxford. I am currently back in the city and hope to help one of my tutors with research for a month.
