What were the most significant take-aways from your experience?

This program really was life changing. Living with a homestay in another country is the best thing a student can do, and I loved being immersed in the culture and having to speak Spanish all the time at home. I think that this trip helped me to become more independent as well as more confident in my Spanish skills, and I look forward to putting those to use in my future studies.

Absolutely do it!! The best experience that I have had at UGA. Great way to meet students at UGA that you may not interact with otherwise. Great way to see the world, learn culture, and explore with amazing people.
