What were the most significant take-aways from your experience?
Program Testimonials
My Spanish improved so much from the very first day to the last. Also, I learned for the first time what it is really like living outside the USA, as this was my first extended period in another country. I learned a ton about the Argentinian culture and history, and feel like I'm now connected to the country and I can't wait to return.
— John Busby, Summer 2017
What were the most significant take-aways from your experience?
Program Testimonials
Argentina was beyond amazing. The work experience I gained from working in an internship in Spanish that perfectly matched my futures goals of working in media and communications was astounding. I was surrounded by great peers, a fantastic and beyond supportive staff whom I miss every day, a loving host family who I still stay in touch with, and a new experience around every corner. My level of Spanish increased, and I learned a lot about myself along the way. I fell in love with Buenos Aires and my only regret is not having the time or money to explore even more of Argentina or the surrounding countries. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience.
— Jaime Conlan, Summer 2018
What were the most significant take-aways from your experience?
Program Testimonials
I learned several things about Latin American culture, and Argentine culture in particular. I was exposed to everything from national history to Argentine popular culture and it was really awesome. I learned that exposing yourself to new cultures that you would never think to experience really opens your mind.

What are your words of advice to students considering this program?
Program Testimonials
Practice you Spanish as much as possible beforehand. Also, don't be afraid to mess up. The people who are the most courageous with their Spanish are the ones who improved the most. Also, prepare yourself to have as many conversations as possible.
— John Busby, Summer 2017
What are your words of advice to students considering this program?
Program Testimonials
Take the leap. Two months seems like a long time, and you may worry about missing your friends or family or fun summer activities in the states, but those two months will be some of the most important times of your life where you will experience exponential growth on a daily basis. Trust in the program staff and speak up about what you want out of the program, everyone is so supportive and will work to help you achieve your goals.
— Jaime Conlan, Summer 2018
What are your words of advice to students considering this program?
Program Testimonials
Before the program begins, spend a lot of time immersing yourself in the language. Listen to music/podcasts and watch Netflix all in Spanish to help with comprehension. My other piece of advice would be to take advantage of every moment. If you don't open yourself up to the culture and the people of Argentina then you won't learn as much Spanish. Let go of your hesitations and remember that it is okay to make mistakes.
— Katie Smith, Summer 2018
