What were the most significant take-aways from your experience?

My most significant takeaways from this magnificent program were the beautiful views and getting to see them all in person. I also very much enjoyed meeting the locals and getting to experience their culture. As they were very kind and nice people. I also was able to take away all the knowledge I learned about the specific sites and their significance to the culture.

What are your words of advice to students considering this program?

Definitely take the opportunity. You get to learn about a rich and storied culture, view beautiful art pieces, and indulge in incredible food. The people in Cortona and wonderful and is the perfect town for tourists. It's not in your face but still allows you to immerse yourself in the country. I can't see any downside to taking this trip.

How did the experience impact you and your future educational/career/personal goals?

The trip reminded me of my love of the arts, from theater to sculpting and painting to cooking. I definitely want to revisit Cortona later in my life.
