Final Reflection Questions
What were the most significant take-aways from your experience?
Program Testimonials
The most significant take-away was just the fact that I was immersed in a completely different country with a completely different language and a completely different culture. In this, I was able to speak, write, and act like a Korean.

What were the most significant take-aways from your experience?
Program Testimonials
The most significant takeaways for me during my time abroad was the ability to fully become independent upon myself and my abilities. As a college student, I do rely on my parents quite a lot, and it makes it even easier to communicate with them daily since they live just a short thirty minutes away from Athens. However, they were a world away from me while I was in Korea, and I had to learn to depend on myself and thus I stepped away from my parents a little bit, and became a lot more independent.

What are your words of advice to students considering this program?
Program Testimonials
Definitely do study abroad. You will meet different students from all over the world. Get out of your comfort zone and try and explore a place that you thought you would never find yourself. Those were my best experiences: I found myself on top of a mountain with the most breathtaking view and jet skiing along the han river.

What are your words of advice to students considering this program?
Program Testimonials
Embrace every single aspect. Keep a journal, because as soon as you get back to Athens, the whole experience will feel like a dream, and you will start to forget a lot of details. So journal daily, even if it's just jotting down what you did, what you ate, and who you did all of that with. You'll be able to look back on that journal and relive a lot of the moments you had abroad.

How did the experience impact you and your future educational/career/personal goals?
Program Testimonials
I want to come back to Korea in the future to possibly live. This is such a beautiful place full of life and creativity!

How did the experience impact you and your future educational/career/personal goals?
Program Testimonials
I basically changed all of my goals while in Korea, so I guess I could say that it completely changed me. Before going, I had an exact plan set out for how I wanted my life to go, both personally and career-wise. However, Korea made me reevaluate everything, and I realized that particular plan may not 100% be exactly what I wanted to do, but rather what made sense or what was easy. So I changed my major to something I enjoyed way more, and even though I'm not sure exactly what the future holds for me, I know I'll be happier in that future than the other one I had set up for myself.
