Final Reflection Questions
What were the most significant take-aways from your experience?
Program Testimonials
I was surprised how different England was to America. I originally picked it as a way to dip my toe into living internationally, since they speak english, I knew I wouldn't ever be too lost or confused. Things would surprise me everyday from the pub culture to the way people greet one another. I feel like I have a new appreciation for adventure that I NEVER had before.
— Chelsey Omoerah, Spring 2018
What were the most significant take-aways from your experience?
Program Testimonials
Being able to live in another country was amazing. England was already my home, but it felt amazing being there as an adult. To me, it was super fun making friends and going places you would never have done before. I also learned so much in school in the perspective of other natives. I believe I have a bigger knowledge than I did in Athens.
— Nikhil Patel, Academic Year 2019
What were the most significant take-aways from your experience?
Program Testimonials
The most significant take-aways are traveling and watching football(soccer) game. It was the first time to stay longer in Europe so it's the best chance to travel adjacent countries to visit. Furthermore, I could watch football games at the stadium. Rather than watching the football game on TV, I could feel the fever of the pitch in real.

What are your words of advice to students considering this program?
Program Testimonials
Get to know the other exchange students (not from America) and locals. I made so many friends who live in my host country or elsewhere around the world, so I know I have a couch to crash on if I go to Austria or Wales or Australia or Denmark or Greece. It's sad having international friends because you won't see them often, but it makes the planning of visits so much more fun.

What are your words of advice to students considering this program?
Program Testimonials
Definitely consider it! If they have your program and you can get enough credits, it's worth it 1000% The university have many facets for exchange student support so you never feel like you're alone. Join some societies and talk to as many people as you can. It makes it so much better living in Liverpool. Liverpool is so warming and an amazing place that I really felt like I lived there permanently and was part of the community

What are your words of advice to students considering this program?
Program Testimonials
Being familiar with the local life is beneficial to study abroad. It helps to make new friends easily. For instance, when I was in Liverpool, football(soccer) is the most huge things for people in Liverpool. In every football day, people gather together at the pub to watch the football match, debating which player is going to score, etc. It became my daily basis as long as watching football game with new friends.

How did the experience impact you and your future educational/career/personal goals?
Program Testimonials
Before now, I've never considered living or working internationally. Since coming back, I've already begun the application process for some over seas jobs in both London and Singapore. There's no question about me leaving the country in the next year, I just need to work out the details!
— Chelsey Omoerah, Spring 2018
How did the experience impact you and your future educational/career/personal goals?
Program Testimonials
During my time in England, I learned so much about the music industry. From lectures to going to concerts, to taking vocal lessons, I was super involved and learning more about my craft. I also was given opportunities to travel to places I'd always wanted to go. On a personal level, it was very fulfilling. I wouldn't trade it for the world. This experience has influenced me to take a look at moving my career to England at some point. Whether that's straight after graduation or in a later part of my professional career.

How did the experience impact you and your future educational/career/personal goals?
Program Testimonials
It was the great opportunity to broaden my view point to consider my future because I could choose different classes that I can't take from my home university. Also I could meet new people while studying abroad to share different ideas.
