I thought that the materials were extremely interesting! I really enjoyed reading them and felt they helped provide a full picture of our topics. While there was a fair amount of work to do, it was expected since this was a 3 credit course in the span of one week.

For future participants, please be aware what you are signing up for. This is not intended to be a beach vacation for you, but a chance to learn about another culture and their history. There is a lot of benefits to this trip if you are willing to participate fully.

The program is a great balance of learning and exploring with the topics we are studying seen in the every day ventures.

It is an informative program not only about Hawaii's culture but also about sustainability. It taught me a different perspective to view our planet and to save it. I hope everyone gets to participate in one of the study aboard program.

This was a wonderful trip and I am so thankful that I was given the opportunity to attend. It has changed my perception of sustainability and helped reinforce thoughts that I've had while in the classroom. This is an experience that I will always carry with me!

The people I met and the places I got to experience transformed my life in an incredible way. I feel like I see the world in a brighter light because of the experience I have had.

Going to Hawaii opened my eyes to different cultures that resided in the U.S as well as the how large the issue of climate change actually is

I had high expectations for this program, and they were certain exceeded. We got to see so many different areas, from active volcanoes to black sand beaches to the capital city, so I feel lucky to have been able to experience so much of Hawaii in a single week. The other UGA students on the trip really made it great - I came back with a new love for Hawaii, interest in sustainability, and friends who did it all with me.

It was great seeing Hawaii on a more personal level instead of just a tourist viewpoint!
