What were the most significant take-aways from your experience?

With this internship, I was able to study abroad to the beautiful country of Korea. When first arriving, I thought I would enjoy traveling to various locations and cities in Korea the most; however, after bonding and connecting with my students for a month period, I realized that spending time and creating wonderful memories with my students will stay with my for the rest of my life. Throughout my time at the school and exploring Korea, I had a blast indulging myself in the culture and making wonderful friendships. I learned to live each day to its fullest and simply enjoy life as it comes.

What were the most significant take-aways from your experience?

Actually traveling to another country and seeing their schooling and the way they grow up is one of the best experiences you can have. It makes you way more of an open thinker in terms of the future students we see and teach. It helps you connect with an entirely different culture than your own an have more acceptance.
