I never felt unsafe in Madrid or Barcelona.

I loved SPAN 4120, especially because of our amazing professor, Inma. I loved learning about Spain's history and politics while also learning about current events in Spain.

We had enough free time to explore and interact with locals if we so desired.

Staying in a host home provided a great opportunity to interact with locals, learn about their culture and practice speaking Spanish.

Incredible Staff

This trip was better than expected. I went into the program knowing one person and left the program with some incredible friends. I love running into them on campus. I was fortunate to be a part of such a close knit group.

Inma is the best Spanish professor I have ever had at UGA, and I want to do another program with her! She made SPAN 4120 so enjoyable, and I learned so much about Spain's political history. Very insightful.

Studying abroad in Spain truly helped me understand the importance of learning about and accepting other cultures.

This was such an amazing experience that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

The UGA Madrid/Barcelona program is a great program that provides experience and opportunity to practice your Spanish skills as well as learn about the various cultures in the different parts of Spain.

This immersive experience in Madrid and Barcelona is not only an incredibly fun trip, but one that allows you to grow as an individual and develop a deeper understanding of culture and the Spanish language.
