I felt safe and well taken care of the entire trip. It is important to remember that 5-star hotels are not a reality for this type of trip; however, every location we stayed in was extremely accommodating and comfortable.

I really enjoyed being led around the different cities by individuals who live there and were part of/witness to the conflict. It made the trip more dynamic and engaging.

You cannot beat this study abroad trips in terms of value and cost.

Choosing to study abroad is one of the best decisions I have made during my time at UGA. I made great relationships with people on the trip, and most importantly, I grew personally and professionally as a social worker through the experiences I had in Northern Ireland.

The Northern Ireland study abroad trip broadened my knowledge about crisis intervention techniques and conflict resolution modalities that I can use with working with clients in the future.

Going on this trip truly changed my life. As someone who has never had the opportunity to travel abroad, this trip taught me so much and opened my eyes to the world around me. Because of this trip, I am now making a list of all the other places I would love to explore.
