The professors at Sciences Po are extremely intelligent, insightful and provoke thought/ discussion. The students there enjoy learning and are globally aware and politically involved.

Recently Sciences Po was ranked 4th in political science and international relations IN THE WORLD. I definitely felt a challenge in my course load (though I only took four classes, three of them were taught in French) and I got to learn the structure of the French education system.

Classes at Sciences Po were difficult and very rewarding!

I had the liberty to travel around both France and Europe/Asia and because Paris is a very important city, it was easy to travel from Paris to almost anywhere.

Paris was amazing!!! I was able to travel (independently) on weekends and explore other areas of France and Europe.

I rented a flat that was about 9 meters squared. It was in an antique apartment and even though it was quite expensive, I had no problems with it.

Through Sciences Po I got to meet some local Parisians and it gave me the opportunity to not only learn about their culture but also practice my French with them.

The Welcome Program was helpful- I strongly recommend it. It gets you accustomed to Paris as well as gives you an opportunity to meet fellow exchange students.

I found no problems with the management of this university.

We had a great orientation at Sciences Po that helped us meet other exchange students and orient ourselves in the city.

We had to fill out professor evaluations for each class we had so we were able to give our feedback. Moreover, at the end of the semester some of my professors asked students for personal feedback regarding content of the course and its organization.

Tuition was alright but the two things that were very expensive were the food and housing.
Spring 2019 Participant
The cost of living in a big city like Paris is high. I saved up for this experience but wish I had known about more affordable housing options before I left.

I expected a lot and that is exactly what I got out of it.

do the Welcome Program! Take advantage of your "buddy" and get to know the French students. Definitely travel, but make sure to see everything there is to see in your host city/ learn it on an intimate level.

Be open and friendly with everyone! Do the Welcome Programme - this is where I met some of my closest friends, and it feels very reassuring to make friends right off the bat in a new environment.

DO IT!! If you are pondering whether or not you should go, you should definitely go. It is a great opportunity to go to an amazing school, meet people from all over the world, and experience life in a large European city. It was worth every penny! Be sure to do research beforehand when you are planning travel excursions and don't forget that you are ultimately there to go to school.

The ability to study at one of the premier academic institutions in the world for political science and international affairs through UGA is an incredible opportunity that students should definitively take advantage of. It is run by a great group of hardworking and easily accessible advisors.

Anyone can travel, but only few have the opportunity to live abroad. Learning your host city on an intimate level and making it your home is an adventure well-worth experiencing.

Studying abroad in Paris was the best part of my college experience. I learned so much about myself as a person and made friends from all over the world. It was truly an invaluable experience for me, and I really hope to go back!
