Kris did an amazing job. Her hard work really paid off and gave me the best study abroad experience I could ever ask for.

Go in with an open mind! Talk to the locals, be nice to the Angels, learn how to use to bus, go down into Camucia for Chinese food, ride the train to the lake. Have so much fun.

While you are there don't let yourself start to take anything for granted. Hang on to the feelings of overwhelming amazement that are there from the first days you arrive. Be comfortable, but still let yourself see and experience new things to always be amazed.

Italy is a gorgeous country full of incredible, people, towns, and art. I would highly recommend this program to anyone who wants to be fully immersed in the art world. There is no better place to do it!

My experience as a student with UGA Cortona not only helped me grow as an artist, student, and person but it also gave me a group of friends I am now able to call my family. This place and these people become a part of you, one that you will always want to go back to.

Though I knew that this trip would change me as a person, nothing could have equipped me for the amount of growth, love, and happiness that came from being in Cortona. My peers, teachers, and environment very literally changed my life, and this experience is one I will miss and appreciate every single day. As a whole, this program will in all likelihood be my most treasured experience and gift from UGA, and that is saying a lot, as UGA has already afforded me some of my happiest times.

Cortona UGA allows you to fully experience Italian culture through its unique ability to assimilate the students into the Cortenese community.

Take every opportunity you have to experience something new, you won't regret it!
